Our massage selection has been carefully chosen to provide a wide range of treatments offering pain relief, relaxation, and overall wellness. In the event you are unsure what massage treatment to opt for then we suggest booking a tailored body massage and we can agree on the day. For new clients with a specific problem area that needs work a remedial or sports massage first appointment is recommended. You don't have to be an athlete to benefit from a remedial or sports massage!

We do not accept walk-in appointments, and all appointments must be booked online and paid for at least 24 hours in advance. The payment is non-refundable, however the appointment can be rearranged at no additional charge providing there is more than 24 hours notice. Latest availability can be seen during the booking process.

While massage is entirely natural and offers many benefits, there are some instances where it is not recommended. Please check the listat the bottom of this page for any contraindications before booking.

Please note:
- the therapy room is up one flight of steep, windy stairs. If you have mobility issues and cannot manage stairs please let us know and we will see what can be arranged.
- there are public conveniences in the Humber Bridge Viewing Area car park beside the venue, but there are no toilet or shower facilities for clients on the premises.
- the modesty and safety of both client and therapist are paramount. Clients are expected to keep their underwear on for the duration of the session.
- use the Viking Way Cafe for satellite navigation and park in the Humber Bridge Viewing area car park. The venue is directly accessed from inside the car park. There is a plaque to the left of the black iron gate.

Total Contraindications For Massage
Fever, nausea, vomiting or diarrhea; deep vein thrombosis (DVT); cancer (unless approved as safe by a GP); acute injury and illness (unless approved as safe by a GP); an infectious disease; first trimester of pregnancy; under the influence of alcohol and recreational drugs; any accident, injury or surgery within the last 3 months (6 months if major).

Contraindications For Massage Locally
Bruises, burns, cuts, abrasions, and any open wounds; skin conditions such as bacterial, viral, or fungal infections; poor vascular health, including varicose veins, thread or spider veins, and artificial blood vessel implants; broken bones; muscle contusion and tears, and tendon tears and ruptures.
Massage Only With Approval from GP
Kidney and liver disease; high blood pressure; blood disorders; diabetes and conditions that reduce sensation; conditions with heightened sensitivity such as fibromyalgia or polymyalgia; osteoporosis and osteopaenia; inflammatory conditions.
